Amber Fort
A hilltop fort and palace complex at Amer, near Jaipur.

Amber Fort stands on a hill at Amer, a short distance from Jaipur. Construction began in 1592 under Raja Man Singh I, and later rulers expanded the complex.
It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage listing for the Hill Forts of Rajasthan, inscribed in 2013.
